T.E.A.L, the Brooklyn-based organization that founded the largest Ovarian Cancer Walk in New York City and is a leader in the fight against Ovarian Cancer , has laid out 4 free ways that you can help to fight this deadly disease. Pamela Esposito-Amery, T.E.A.L co-founder and Executive Director, outlines below how you can help support T.E.A.L.’s core mission without having to make a donation. Pamela, a Flatlands Lions member and T.E.A.L. chairperson, is acutely aware that there are many who wish to help even if they can’t by donating themselves. By helping to start a fundraiser, volunteering, or by simply sharing your experiences with Ovarian Cancer, anyone can make an impact.
That is not to say that donors and event participants are not sought after – they are both needed and gratefully welcomed! Two T.E.A.L. events are listed below for all that are interested.
4 FREE Ways You Can Support T.E.A.L. Right Now
There’s no cost. It’s free to set up your own custom page that you can share
with others. Create a tribute page in memory of a loved one or in lieu of a
birthday gift, this year ask your friends to donate to T.E.A.L.
We’re always looking for volunteers to sign up to help at our T.E.A.L. Walk.
There are also volunteer opportunities throughout the year. A few hours
of your time can have a lasting impact.
This is a great way to create awareness about Ovarian Cancer in your office,
school or place of business. Ask us how to get started.
We want to hear from you. Tell us about your experience at one of our events
or share your personal journey with Ovarian Cancer.
Thank You For Your Continued Support
